I am Kelly, a 22 year old fitness and health fanatic. I am working on my Master’s degree in Health Education and Behavior at the University of Florida and plan to work in Health Promotion upon graduation. Growing up, I was very active and played soccer throughout my childhood. Upon starting my undergraduate years at the University of South Florida in Tampa, I was unsure of how to remain active without being involved in sports. It took me a while, but I finally found a routine in the gym. My interest in fitness grew and I slowly began to become more aware of what I fueled my body with. Now, I constantly challenge myself with new workouts and I am always looking for something new to try in the gym. I am a big fan of strength training, running, and yoga or anything that combines all of these. Keeping things interesting in the gym is what I am all about. I love being able to say that I have never felt as good about myself as I do now. This is all because I take care of myself. I eat foods that I know fuel my body and let me perform at my absolute best. To me, life is one big journey of living in moderation. It’s all about being able to balance working out, eating healthy, and still managing to have a good time.
